Time seems to continue to fly by and we have now reached the start of a new term and academic year. A huge ‘Welcome Back’ to school to all our children and all the staff very much hope that the children and their families had a relaxing summer….every year we look forward the the children telling us about the highlights of their holidays! We would like to extend a very special welcome to our new Reception intake. They have already settled well into school life and are busy making new friends and exploring all that Kings Caple has to offer!
We will distribute our first ‘proper’ Newsletter of this academic year next Friday (16th September). At this time the children will have been in school for a week or so and we will be able to feedback to you with Class updates on what they have been up to. In the meantime there are a couple of reminders/diary dates that we would like to highlight as follows:
- Please could all Race For Life sponsorship forms and monies be forwarded to school by 9th September; and
- The next school meal menu will be distributed to parents on or before Monday 12th September. This menu will cover the four weeks commencing 26th September. Please could all completed menus be placed in the order box in the school corridor by no later than 9am on Friday 16th September. This is somewhat earlier than usual and is due to the need for the kitchen to process paperwork and accommodate staff holidays. Thank you for your co-operation. Please may we also remind parents that menus need to be completed and returned for children who are in receipt of a free school meal…only children with completed orders will receive a meal.
- Kings Caple Primary Academy OPEN DAY will be held on TUESDAY 11th October 2016 between 9.30am and 5pm. Current and prospective parents are most welcome to visit the school.
