On Tuesday last week the children were visited by representatives of the ‘Mervyn Morgan Tree Planting Project’. This project was set up as a legacy to Mr Mervyn Morgan and each year pupils in year 6 who attend schools within the Wye Valley AONB are asked if they wish to receive a tree to plant.  The project helps to ensure that the AONB remains wooded for years to come.

Our year six pupils were presented with their chosen trees, together with a tree guard and information booklet.  The whole school were able to benefit from a talk on tree planting and care. We would like to once again thank those who oversee the project.
