They promise they will be back soon to do some activities with all of the children. They complimented Mrs Talboys on the good behaviour of her class. The pupils in Class 1 are really enjoying their dinosaur topic and they have made dinosaur cakes. Roaming Reptiles - tortoiseAs part of their studies of ‘The Highwayman,’ Class 3 had a visit from a horse. We watched it cantering and found out about its diet and habits. Roaming Reptiles also came into school as part of Class 3’s Rainforest topic. The children loved meeting snakes and creepy crawlies! In Science, the children have been looking at the eye and will be making their own clay reptiles with special glass eyes. We have also been looking at inherited characteristics through Mr. men! Class 3 have produced some beautiful artwork based on ‘The Highwayman.’ In PE, the children have been planning their Moving Targets dance which will be performed in March at The Courtyard. It is first come, first served for the tickets.  Many pupils in Class 3 took part in the indoor athletics this week at Hereford Academy, competing against other schools.
